On 29 September, UECC’s Auto Eco celebrated an outstanding achievement: 10 years of operations without a single Lost Time Injury (LTI) since the vessel’s delivery.

This impressive milestone is a testament to the strong safety culture onboard and represents a significant achievement, not only within the UECC fleet but also across the wider shipping industry.

Such an accomplishment would not have been possible without the dedication, professionalism and continuous commitment to safety demonstrated by the officers and crew who have served onboard Auto Eco over the past decade.

Celebrating Safety Together

To mark this special occasion, the crew gathered for a celebratory barbecue, recognising the collective efforts that have contributed to a decade of safe operations.

The celebration also provided an opportunity to reinforce the importance of maintaining high safety standards. As part of the event, the crew participated in a practical life raft training session, including the proper use of immersion suits, highlighting that safety awareness, regular training and preparedness remain at the heart of everyday operations.
