Deployment of two new dual fuel LNG PCTCs on the Baltic service

After their Naming Ceremonies, the world’s largest dual fuel LNG PCTCs are ready to trade in the Baltic.

UECC is proud to announce the deployment of our new dual fuel LNG PCTCs the M/V AUTO ECO and M/V AUTO ENERGY (the E-class) in our weekly Baltic Service. The Baltic service has now included Malmö in the loop. After their Naming Ceremonies (M/V AUTO ECO on 21^st November 2016 and M/V AUTO ENERGY on 7^th February 2017), the world’s largest dual fuel LNG PCTCs are ready to trade in the Baltic.

Commenting on the E-class trading on the Baltic service, Mr. Bjorn Svenningsen (Head of Sales and Marketing), “These are the first in the world and they are fitted with a dual-fuel LNG propulsion system, allowing them to complete a fourteen-day round trip on LNG without refuelling. They are constructed to meet the highest ice class standard: Super 1A Finish /Swedish Ice Class, breaking through 1 meter of ice and continue to ensure reliable trading. Their flexibility, moveable decks and increased ramp capacity have been designed to allow all High & Heavy cargo, or almost any kind of RoRo stock. They are the type of vessels that you can count on 365 days a year!”
